Did I Tell You I Love You? - Kenny Hogan

Sometimes I take it for granted
how lucky I am everyday
Forgetting to show that I'm grateful
with three simple words I should say . . .

Did I tell you I love you
Did I tell you today
Sometimes I forget to
little things get in my way

I have loved you a long time
honey I love you still
Did I tell you I love you
and that I always will

Just because I don't say it often
not half as much as I should
that doesn't mean that I've forgotten
I thought that by now you just understood

Did I tell you I love you
Cause you've always been there
shining through my darkest hours
like the answer to my prayers

Just because I don't say it often
not half as much as I should
that doesn't mean that I've forgotten
I thought that by now you just understood

Please have faith in me darlin'
like I have faith in you
when I tell you I love you
little darlin' I do

Did I tell you I love you
little darlin' I do

ABOUT THIS SONG:
Okay, here's my attempt at making a country
song.
This is a corny love song I wrote and
delivered to my wife Katie, as promised, on
Mother's Day.

I recorded it in record time- in six days,
working 8 to 12 hours each day until my
ears rang.
I sang 6 background vocal parts, the lead
vocal, and played all the instruments:
Two acoustic guitars (Variax Jumbo model)
Variax banjo model
Frankendobro - simulated pedal steel guitar
Fender jazz bass
Keyboards - (Kawaii jazz organ)
Zoom Mrs-1044 drum pgm
Can I get a YEEE HAW?
