This is the Sears Silvertone acoustic guitar I got for Christmas in 1965. At 10 years old  I was
instantly addicted to guitar playing.
Little did my parents know that this gift would change the course of my life.
THANKS MOM!
THANKS DAD!
As my hair and I grew, I played
at  various Junior High School
dances, cookouts, The Mystic
Knights Club, and this Saint
Francis church dance,
where
my band was thrown out for
singing one of my songs
entitled
"The F---- You Blues."
THIS PAGE IS STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION.
I idolized Eric Clapton, BB King, Edgar & Johnny Winter, The Rolling Stones, The Allman Brothers,
James Taylor, and  many others but most of all THE BEATLES.
I hacked around in lots of bands that rehearsed and jammed in cellars all over Medford, Mass. We
played in at dances, cookouts, rinks, parties and anywhere else we could find. I spent hundreds of
hours in my bedroom, just me and my Gretsch Guitar and the record player. Music meant
everything to me when I was a kid. That never really changed. The music we listened to was
changing every day.

Fresh  out of high school , I joined a band called BLUE FOX.  We travelled all over the US and Canada in a school
bus. This band had a horn section, a 5 piece rhythm section, and a sound and light man. We also had a
semi-mafioso manager who would send us anywhere at all to play.
This band was insane. I remember this as the craziest, most carefree days of my life. We went a lot of places,
learned a lot of lessons, and came home broke every time. But MAN we had FUN! I could tell you road stories for
DAYS about these guys.
After BLUE FOX ended, I joined a soul band called THE LORDS. I learned a lot from these guys,
and we travelled  in a bus too, all over the country, and we played in Canada and Nova Scotia
quite a bit. With ten pieces, the fancy suits, and all that choreography, this was a true "Show
Band."
I WISH I COULD HAVE
JOINED THIS BAND.
NIGHT PEOPLE Was a hard working band with some true characters in it.
We worked mostly in Connecticut, Vermont, New Hampshire, and hardly ever near our home base of
Boston. We worked 5-6 nights per week for a 2 year period. We did a LOT of gigs.
Of course I bought yet another school bus to travel around in.

I love to look at these pictures and
laugh.
We really thought we were cool too!
Fast Forward was the quintessential 80's band. We were very popular in the Cape Cod area, and on the south shore. I have many fond
memories of this group of skilled musicians. i was very proud just to play with these guys.

In the 90's I moved on to various smaller bands and more localized venues.

In 2005, I made the decision (after over 30 years of playing in night clubs) to focus on recording my own songs.
That's the path I'm on...
Phil Bynoe played bass for Fast Forward and later
went on to play with Charlie Farren, Kevin Eubanks
& The Tonight Show Band, and is currently touring
with Steve Vai.

Mike Bianco played guitar for Fast Forward and
went on to develop a completely unique
approach to playing guitar by tapping on
two guitars at the same time!
